Hang in there! II think you're experiencing why I didnt end up majoring/minoring in German. I got my first B in German while in college (had only A's in high school) so I panicked and thought I sucked. But the German prof begged me several times to major or minor in German and I just lost faith in myself, and it was one of my mistakes....
I read German much better than I can speak it. I was able to read train schedules and menus and stuff while I was in Germany, but speaking it was really hard... The problem is we have to think in English first what we want to say, then we have to find all the words we want to use in German, and then we have to rearrange the sentence to the German form, and by then people are waiting for a response... It's hard to talk in a language because you have to learn to think in it...

Hang in there, Kris! It'll get better. I'm sorry that you're having a tough time over there. We all love and miss you lots! It was great to see/ talk to you last weekend. Like I said, hang in there I'm sure that it will get better. Learning a language is not an easy feat!
